Elder LeRoy Thomas Hie, 55, departed this life on October 25th 2022. He was born in Providence, RI on October 14th 1967 to Dianne Hie-Levy and the late Leroy Spiver Sr. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, the late Riccardo Levy.
Elder Lee grew up in Providence, RI alongside his siblings, Darnell and Keiojfa.
He worked for Phillips Plumbing and Mechanical where he obtained his Journeymen Pipefitter License and was one and a half years shy of obtaining his Master Pipefitter License.
He had a love for serving the Lord and the children of God, old school cars, his San Francisco 49ers, playing Chess, and hanging with family. He could be seen fishing with his children and grandchildren, hanging with family, going for a ride in his old school, or playing chess with his "brothers from another mother". He had a heart for everyone and was a confidant for many, a shoulder for most and was there for whoever needed him. He will be remembered for his booming loud voice, his jokes that made you cry, his caring heart, his love for teaching the word of God, and his love for everyone.
